Steven Thompson taking part in Bar Council mission to Korea and China

Steven Thompson is part of the Bar Council delegation visiting Seoul, Shanghai and Beijing this month. The delegation will be led by the Chair of the Bar and the Head of the Bar’s International Committee. Steven will be speaking at seminars and taking part in meetings with local bar associations and firms. This is his fourth visit to China with the Bar Council.

Steven has been a member of the Bar Council International Committee for 5 years and has helped foster links with China through his involvement with the Bar Council’s Chinese Interest Group and Chinese lawyers’ Training Scheme (formerly the Lord Chancellor’s Training Scheme). He works regularly with Chinese law firms on arbitrations and cross-border disputes as well as advising on contractual and joint venture matters.
