Lyndsey de Mestre KC appointed Chair of the Inns’ Conduct Committee

XXIV Old Buildings is delighted to announce that Lyndsey de Mestre KC has been appointed as Chair of the Inns’ Conduct Committee (ICC).
The appointment, following a Bar-wide recruitment process, provides vital professional leadership in the determination of whether an Inn of Court should refuse to admit an applicant for admission, or expel or refuse to Call a student to the Bar, in developing general policy and process, chairing panels which consider whether individuals are fit and proper persons to become practising barristers and offering professional guidance in relation to the day-to-day delivery of the ICC’s operations.
