Michael Black KC will join a panel discussion entitled ‘Keeping it in the Family – Arbitration for Billionaires’ as part of Dubai Arbitration Week 2023 on Wednesday 15 November from 10AM – 12PM GST.
The event co-hosted by Mishcon de Reya and ICLO will examine the specific issues arising from international arbitration involving high-net-worth-individuals, family offices and family estates, including:
- Participation of individuals in high-value complex commercial arbitration proceedings
- Succession issues
- Involvement of estates, trustees and beneficiaries in arbitration

- Issues of enhanced privacy and confidentiality, including upon enforcement of arbitration awards in national courts
