XXIV Old Buildings hosted its annual international trust litigation conference in Geneva on 13th September 2012. The topics covered were:

  • The various routes to remedying problems in trusts and trust documents (Francis Tregear QC and Elizabeth Weaver)
  • The issues thrown up by trustees’ indemnities and creditors’ claims (Bajul Shah)
  • Removal of trustees (Michael King and Nicole Langlois)
  • Panel discussion on the limitation of trust claims (Alan Steinfeld QC, Adam Cloherty and Edward Cumming)
  • Debate on the topic “This House believes that England and Wales should introduce forced heirship” (Elspeth Talbot Rice QC, John Stephens, Elizabeth Weaver, Heather Murphy, Harry Sharpe)
