Adam Cloherty, Edward Cumming and Robert Avis are all featured The Lawyer’s article detailing the top 20 most high-profile cases due to be heard in 2016.

Adam is instructed in Property Alliance Group v Royal Bank of Scotland, the trial of which is listed in June. The £30m claim is “understood to be one of the most advanced Libor-rigging cases currently before the English courts” (The Lawyer).

The trial of The Libyan Investment Authority v Goldman Sachs, featuring Edward and Robert, is also due to be heard in June. The LIA, Libya’s sovereign wealth fund, “is suing Goldman Sachs for $1.2bn over losses it made during the Gaddafi era before Libya’s 2011 uprising” (The Lawyer).
