Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer and Head of Finance and Administration, Kathryn is responsible for all non-clerking areas of Chambers management. She oversees and manages, along with the support of the administration team, the operational and logistical strategy of Chambers including compliance, regulation, corporate social responsibility, finance, HR, accommodation, facilities and event management. Kathryn is jointly responsible for the management of Chambers and sits on our Management Committee.

Kathryn joined XXIV Old Buildings in March 2011 having spent seven years in Chambers Management at two leading IP sets.

She graduated with an upper second class honours degree from the University of Southampton with a BA in English Literature and is a member of the Legal Practice Management Association. Kathryn takes a keen intertest and an active role in the development and wellbeing of staff in Chambers.  She serves as Career Mentor for the University of Southampton and regularly acts internally as a mentor for team members undertaking the BTEC in Chambers Administration course.
