Perry began his clerking career at Erskine Chambers in 2007 and joined XXIV Old Buildings in 2008 as a Junior Clerk. Perry has since progressed to Listing Clerk (2012), Assistant Practice Manager (2014) and was promoted to Practice Manager in 2015.
His responsibilities include the management and development of the QCs. This includes client relations, management of the members’ diaries, fee negotiation and assisting with annual practice management meetings.
Perry is described by Chambers and Partners 2018 as “Practice Manager Perry Brown is a man you can create good dialogue with”, the Legal 500 2017 as “efficient and user-friendly” and by the Legal 500 2016 as “a godsend with a great can-do attitude“.
In 2013, Perry obtained a distinction in his BTEC in Chambers Administration and he has recently passed his Diploma in Leadership Skills. He is also a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks.
