As part of London International Disputes Week (LIDW), Charles Russell Speechlys and XXIV Old Buildings invite you to a seminar on Trusts hurt: the fraud lawyer, the trust, and the avenues of attack (and defence).
This event is designed for those new to practice, professionals who do not specialise in private wealth disputes, and experienced trust litigators seeking to enhance their expertise in a commercial context. The seminar will focus on essential knowledge for commercial litigators regarding trusts and estates, addressing issues at the intersection of trust and commercial litigation, and strategies for managing these challenges.
The panel will explore the tools available to trust litigators, such as freezing trust assets, Cobden-Ramsay orders, and accounts for wilful default. Additionally, the seminar will provide insights into international perspectives and corporate considerations when commercial business assets are owned by trusts.
There will be the opportunity to network before and after the seminar, where refreshments will be provided.
