John Stephens

It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of John Stephens who passed away at the weekend.

He will be sorely missed by all of us at XXIV for all the good work which he has done for Chambers over the many years since he joined us and most especially for his good humour and pleasant company.  He was the epitome of a bon viveur but that is not to detract from his great talent and his huge success as a barrister having built up a devoted clientele who enormously valued his always sensible advice.

John’s funeral service will be held ‎on Wednesday, 13 April 2016, at 5pm in Lincoln’s Inn Chapel.  It will be followed by a reception at Lincoln’s Inn MCR.  Please RSVP to Kathryn Paterson (kathryn.paterson@xxiv.co.uk) should you wish to attend either the ceremony or the reception.
