XXIV is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the ICC UK Arbitration Seminar “Enforcement of Awards: A Two-Way Street?” which is taking place on 12 March 2015.
The Chairman of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, John Beechey, will be the keynote speaker.
Leading practitioners, including members of XXIV, will explore and debate the current issues surrounding the enforcement of foreign awards in London and enforcement of English awards in other jurisdictions.
Michael Black KC will chair the event with Edward Knight speaking on “Delay: Never Too Long? — The Impact of Delay on the Adjournment of Enforcement Under Article VI of the New York Convention” and Steven Thompson QC discussing “Some Issues Arising in Enforcement of Awards in China and Hong Kong”.
