XXIV Old Buildings remains committed to supporting and advancing women in Chambers at every stage of their careers.
Building on our menopause policy, we have recently delivered training to our members and staff to raise awareness and ensure the necessary support is in place. Our commitment in this area has been strongly championed by Lyndsey de Mestre KC, who has been instrumental in advocating for better support for women experiencing menopause, including co-authoring an article in Counsel Magazine with practical guidance for individuals and chambers.
We continue to champion gender equality, including through our commitment to the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge, and by providing inclusive policies that support women’s well-being and career progression
