Oliver Assersohn KC will present to The Association of Professional Compliance Consultants (APCC) on 19 September 2024 at 12pm on Responding to the FCA’s use of its own initiative powers.
In the session, financial regulatory specialist lawyers Oliver Assersohn KC, Chris Brennan and Zeena Saleh will speak to their experiences acting for and defending firms, including how to best respond to the FCA’s use of its own initiative powers and (if so required) how to apply to the Upper Tribunal for suspension of the effect of the FCA’s actions and/or privacy. It is inherent in the subject matter that there is very little published guidance and whilst any examples will necessarily be discussed in entirely anonymised form the talk will cover areas vital to navigating an increasingly challenging regulatory landscape.
