Daniel Warents reappointed as a barrister member of the Insolvency Rules Committee

The Lord Chancellor has approved the reappointment of Daniel Warents as a barrister member of the Insolvency Rules Committee for a term of 4 years with effect from 31 October 2025.

The Insolvency Rules Committee (IRC), is a committee established under s.413 of the Insolvency Act 1986 which is consulted on the making of the Insolvency Rules. The IRC considers amendments to the rules arising out of a review of secondary insolvency legislation, giving their recommendations to the Lord Chancellor. IRC is an advisory non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice.
