    • Srivaddhanaprabha v Leonardo: acting for the family of the former chair of Leicester City FC, Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, in a product liability claim for damages against the manufacturer of a helicopter which crashed shortly after take-off in 2018 killing all on board. Bajul also represented the family in the Coroner’s Inquests into the deaths arising from the crash.
    • Airbus A320 panels issues: advising an aircraft operator following Airbus’ discovery in late 2025 that some of the airframe panels on its A320 aircraft suffered from uneven thickness.
    • Aviator Ireland v Royal Air: acting for the claimant owner/lessor in its efforts to secure the return of its aircraft and engines from the Philippines and China (respectively) after defaults by the lessee and sub-lessee.
    • Qatar Airways Group v Airbus SAS: acting for Qatar Airlines in its disputes with Airbus over the premature peeling of paint and outer layers of A350 aircraft and over a contract to deliver A321Neo aircraft. The dispute eventually settled on confidential terms.
    • Thai Airways: advising on various issues arising out of Thai Airways’ insolvency and restructuring proceedings and parallel English proceedings by creditors.

      Bajul has experience in a number of pension related matters. His experience includes:

      • Re NSM Group Pension Scheme: A dispute on the proper interpretation of the Winding-Up Regulation and their effect on the distribution of assets in a pension scheme where the employer had gone into administration and there was a deficit in the pension scheme. Bajul acted for the deferred pensioners.
      • Retirement Annuity Trusts: Advising beneficiaries of two Retirement Annuity Trusts established in Guernsey under Guernsey law over whether the trustees had been negligent in the investments which they had made.
      • Re X: Advising in relation to the pension scheme of a major union on whether its increases in pensions are discriminatory.
      • Re Z:  Advising on whether a divorced wife’s estate can claim its share of her former husband’s pension under a Pension Sharing Order in circumstances where she had not finalised where she wanted the money to go before she died.
